With another distinction in its luggage, the Mixed Choir of Preveza "Harmony" returned yesterday from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Specifically, our choir participated in the 15th International Choral Festival "Singing World" in Saint Petersburg, Russia from August 4th to August 9th, 2017. 64 choirs from all over the world participated in the festival, and our choir managed to win the 2nd prize in the folklore category, performing works by Konstantinidis, Hairston, and Trypani. The importance of this success is multiplied since the level of the choirs that participated was particularly high, as most of the choirs came from music academies in Russia and China with a special tradition in choral music.
