On Friday and Saturday, 10 th and 11 th of November 2017 respectively, the kick-off meeting of the project WestEastChord took place in Preveza (Greece), which concerns the research and learning of different approaches of sacred music from eastern Europe and western Europe respectively (theoretically, historically, culturally, practically). The project is included in the strategic partnerships in adult education (Action KA2) and it is financed by the European Programme Erasmus+, which is coordinated in Greece by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).
The meeting will be attended by representatives from the three choirs-partners of the project, namely: Choral Society Armonia of Preveza (Greece), Vassil Arnaudov Sofia Chamber Choir (Bulgaria) and Academic Choir of University of Primorska (Slovenia) and its agenda will consist of organizational and procedural issues concerning the project and its implementation.
